Historic Sheridan Inn

Hello everybody,

I am thinking about my next book and writing it on one of the live in residents of the Historic Sheridan Inn of Sheridan, Wyoming. Why would I do that you ask? Well because, I grew up in Sheridan, Wyoming and it is a beautiful place. The Sheridan Inn was built in 1892, people like Buffalo Bill Cody stayed there. He held auditions for his wild west show off the front porch. Catherine B. Arnold or "Miss Kate" lived at the hotel from 1901 to 1965. She also worked at the Inn doing an array of jobs. When she died she requested that her ashed be returned to her room at the Inn. A private service was held in her room and then her friend put her ashed in the wall.

The Inn was closed in October of 2012, because the costs are becoming too much! I would like to write this book from the view point of one of its residents and donate some of the earnings to The Historic Sheridan Inn. I would like to do this because, it is an important part of Wyoming history as well as a magnificent building. I would like to help them raise money to renovate this building and turn it back into the majestic hotel it once was. Please if you would like to donate to them you can view their website at
http://www.sheridaninn.com  please visit their link and view the pictures and the history.  Also please go to Ashley's Facebook link and like the page, comment on who you think should be written about.

Thank you everybody!
